Your book runs on memory, not software.

Who pays on time, who moves on price, which buyer takes off-spec in a pinch. That is the broker's real asset, and it is tribal knowledge: unwritten, unsearchable, and it leaves when they do. Vantage turns the inputs a deal already arrives on into a record the business owns. Submissions logged, requests processed, matches found, without anyone retyping a line.

What Vantage takes in

  • Gmail
  • WhatsApp
  • margin_calc_v7_FINAL.xlsx
  • draft BL.pdf
  • supplier portal
  • voicemail

Connected to Gmail and WhatsApp, so the thread that starts a deal is the thread that files it.

Six places, one person, and nothing written down.
places a deal arrives from
6places a deal arrives from
record it becomes
1record it becomes
of it retyped by hand
0of it retyped by hand

The questions a spreadsheet can't answer.

A sheet holds what a trade can be typed into. Everything that decides one lives somewhere else: in a thread, in somebody's memory, in a margin rebuilt by hand. Vantage puts those answers on the deal, where the question gets asked.

Columns a sheet does not have

  • last 6 months with this buyer
  • who is waiting on whom
  • freight, and what clears after it
  • which reply moved the price
What is this buyer’s history with me?
In a sheetScroll three tabs back, if anyone wrote it down.In VantageEvery quote, counter and close with Trans-Pacific sits on the company record, with the prices they actually paid.
What do I need to do today?
In a sheetReconstruct it from your inbox each morning. In VantageNine deals, each showing the one action blocking it and whose turn it is. Yours are at the top.
Does this still clear after freight?
In a sheetRebuild the margin by hand, per option, every time.In VantageSpread minus freight, resolved per option before it goes out, so the number you send is the number you keep.

Five workflows that run themselves.

Material in, options out, the trade priced, the board triaged, the deal held together. Drag through them or let them play: each clip is one scene of the film above rendered on its own, so a workflow and the film can never say different things. The still you land on is the frame where the beat pays off.

It lands from WhatsApp. It files itself.

Grade, tonnage, loads and price arrive already structured, queued into Awaiting Review, Awaiting Feedback and Review Complete. Clear one and it tells you who is waiting for it, and at what price.

Documents checked before they cost you.

A draft BL arrives as a PDF in a supplier's reply. The truth it has to match (consignee, discharge port, quantity, the whole shipping instruction) is on the deal. Someone reads two documents line by line at six in the evening, and a wrong discharge port found after the box has sailed is a re-consignment fee and a very difficult phone call.

1discrepancy, caught before it sailed
The model reads
Fourteen fields pulled out of a scanned PDF that has no fixed layout. This is exactly what a model is for.
The rules decide
Whether two ports match is not a judgement call, so nothing judges it. The comparison is deterministic and returns the same answer every run: a document cannot pass on Tuesday and fail on Thursday.
The broker signs
Nothing is sent on the system's say-so. It surfaces what disagrees and who still has to confirm; the decision stays where it was.

It comes in as an attachment.

The draft bill of lading turns up in a supplier’s reply with the question attached: can you check the consignee and the discharge port before it ships. Drag it in and Vantage reads it.

Know exactly where every deal stands.

Every deal moves through the same four, and the system knows which one it is in. Nothing advances on a hunch: a stage closes when the thing it is responsible for has actually happened.

  1. Confirm

    stage 01

The proforma goes out, the buyer confirms against it, and the purchase order is generated from the same figures rather than retyped. Supporting documents attach to the deal, not to an inbox.

  2. Payments

    stage 02

Buyer deposit collected and verified, supplier payout released against it, final balance tracked to the day. What is owed and what has cleared stop being two different questions.

  3. Logistics

    stage 03

Freight booked, bill of lading instructions collected, container tracked gate to gate. Seal numbers and loading photos land on the deal while the box is still moving.

  4. Settlement

    stage 04

Balance collected, costs reconciled against revenue, and the final margin resolved from what actually happened rather than from what was quoted at the start.

Supply meets demand, scored

Material, quantity, price, geography and relationship history are weighted into one fit score, so the shortlist is ranked before anyone picks up the phone.

The margin, before you commit

Loading weight, sell price and freight resolve into net profit on every offer. An option that loses money turns negative on screen rather than at settlement.

Documents that generate themselves

Proformas, purchase orders and bills of lading are produced from the deal and sent from inside it. The figures cannot drift, because they were never entered twice.

One record, every side of the deal.

Suppliers submit without an account, because a login is the fastest way to not receive a submission. Everything they send lands structured on the same deal the broker is working.
